What Is Hospice Care?
Core to Hospice is the belief that we should all have the right to a pain-free death. A death with dignity, and a death where quality and comfort are essential. Hospices care is made up of a multi-disciplinary team that supports the patient and the family. This team includes medical, psychological, and spiritual care professionals as well as companion volunteers and often music and art therapists. Hospice care can take place in the home or in a facility.
