Mesothelioma
Mesothelioma is a malignant tumor caused by inhaling asbestos fibers and is incurable. It can form in the lining of the lungs, abdomen or heart. The life expectancy for most patients is about one year after diagnosis. Treatment may improve prognosis and can include surgery, chemotherapy or radiation.
